The “Psychological Counseling” study program provides for a 2-year postgraduate program after which graduates receive a specialization in “Clinical Psychology and Trauma Psychotherapy” with the opportunity to take additional specializations starting from the 2nd year of study – “Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of Children and Adolescents” / “Clinical Psychology and Family Therapy”.

After completing the 2nd year, there is an opportunity to consistently continue training in the programs “Clinical Supervision”, “Teaching Psychological Counseling and Trauma Psychotherapy”.

Program Objectives:
To prepare psychotherapists:
– to provide mental health services to the community, in particular to war-traumatized individuals, children and families based on research and American standards for providing psychotherapeutic care;
– apply knowledge and skills of professional ethics, age psychology and personality development, group psychotherapy, work with addictions, theories of psychotherapy and research in clinical practice;
– diagnose and develop psychotherapy plans for the treatment of emotional and mental disorders based on ICD-10, 11 and DSM-5;
– provide clinical supervision to psychotherapists who study in the program and practice in the field of mental health in Ukraine.
The program is focused on obtaining psychotherapeutic education. Completion of the program is the basis for independent professional practice of psychotherapy (individual and group) and psychological counseling in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

The cost of training in the “Psychological Counseling” program is $ 4,000 per year.
